Inside One of Design's Biggest Stages: Covering Figma Config 2026
Every June, thousands of designers, developers, and product builders take over Moscone Center in San Francisco for Figma Config, the company's flagship conference for people who build products. This year, we had the privilege of providing event photography coverage for Config 2026, helping document one of the year's premier design and technology conferences with nearly 10,000 attendees.
Over multiple days at Moscone Center South, the Glacial Etch Media team captured the full arc of the event: Dylan Field's opening keynote, where he told the crowd that "code is not the opposite of design, code is material for design," attendee energy across Config Commons on Howard Street, brand activations, hands-on demo sessions, and the quiet networking moments that don't make the keynote reel but often matter just as much to the people who were there.
Conferences like Config move fast. Sessions run back-to-back across two full content days, speakers and attendees are constantly in motion, and the moments worth capturing, a product reveal, a candid conversation, a detail on the show floor, often happen once. Our goal is always to tell the complete story of an event through authentic, high-quality imagery that clients can use for marketing, social media, and future promotions long after the last keynote wraps.
